The Central Government recently notified the appointment of judicial officer Dharmesh Sharma as an additional judge of the Delhi High Court.
Sharma, a Delhi Higher Judicial Services officer, was previously the Principal District and Sessions Judge of Dwarka Courts (South-West District).
The Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju notified the appointment on Twitter.
“In exercise of power conferred under the Constitution, Shri Dharmesh Sharma, Judicial Officer is appointed as Additional Judge of Delhi High Court. I extend my best wishes to him,” the tweet reads.
The Supreme Court Collegium recommended three judicial officers, including Sharma, for appointment as additional judges of the Delhi High Court in April. Last month, Girish Kathpalia and Manoj Jain were appointed as additional judges to the High Court.
