A Chaibasa Court in Jharkhand has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for the murder of his paternal uncle in West Singhbhum district.
The Principal District and Session Judge’s court also levied a fine of Rs 10,000 on the accused, Budhram Soy.
As per the FIR filed on May 4, 2022, frequent quarrels between Soy and his uncle Ramrai over a piece of land were documented. Soy committed the crime by using an axe to kill Ramrai while he was asleep at his residence in Theesapid village.
