Chitrakoot Court in Uttar Pradesh has sentenced four brothers to life imprisonment in a 2017 murder case.
The court of District Judge Vikas Kumar convicted Umesh, Dinesh, Raju, and Bhaiya for the murder of their cousin Lavlesh Yadav, as confirmed by District Government Counsel Shyam Sunder Mishra.
Mishra stated, “The court also slapped a fine of Rs 12,500 on each of the convicts.”
According to police reports, Lavlesh was killed in January 2017. An FIR was filed against the four brothers in connection with the murder, and a charge sheet was subsequently filed.
Police officials indicated that Lavlesh was fatally attacked with a sharp-edged weapon.
