A special court in Uttar Pradesh has deferred the hearing of a defamation case against Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, to April 15.
The postponement was due to the complainant’s failure to present a witness, causing a delay in the proceedings.

The hearing, scheduled for April 3, could not take place as no witness was brought before the court. Advocate Kashi Prasad Shukla, who is representing Rahul Gandhi in the case, confirmed the delay.
“The hearing was supposed to be conducted today, but since the complainant failed to present any witness, no proceedings could be held. The court has now fixed April 15 as the next date for the hearing,” Shukla stated.
