Delhi Court Allows AAP MP Swati Maliwal To Travel To US

Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday has permitted Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal to travel to the United States from November 2 to 15.

Maliwal had sought permission to travel abroad to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York from November 4 to 8 and to visit her ailing sister in the United States.

Currently, Maliwal is on bail in a case related to alleged irregularities in recruitment within the Delhi Commission for Women.

Earlier this month: Swati Maliwal has challenged the lower court’s order of framing of charges in the Delhi High Court.
