Delhi Court Extends Judicial Custody of 3 Accused in Waqf Board Recruitment Case

Delhi court has extended the judicial custody of three accused arrested in a case of Delhi Waqf Board recruitment process.

The case involves allegations of illegal recruitment of 32 people by AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan while he was chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board, which violating norms and government guidelines.

The accused, Zeeshan Haider, Daud Nasir, and Jawed Immam Siddiqui, will remain in jail until December 15.

The court’s decision came after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) sought an extension of their custody, claiming that they needed more time to investigate the case.
