Delhi Excise Policy: Court Extends Judicial Custody of Arvind Kejriwal & Kavitha till May 7

Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Kalvakuntla Kavitha in a money laundering case linked to the alleged excise scam until May 7, 2024.

The Judge

Special judge for CBI and ED matters, Kaveri Baweja, extended their custody following their appearance before the court via video conference upon the expiration of their remand.

The judge extended Kavitha’s judicial custody, a Telangana MLC and daughter of former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, until May 7 in the associated corruption case under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
