The Former Deputy Chief Minister Of Delhi & Aam Aadmi Party Leader (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia is to be produced before a local court today.
Sisodia was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam on February 26 after eight hours of questioning.
Sisodia’s CBI custody gets over today (Monday) and according to the official sources, the central probe agency is not seeking for further custody of the AAP leader.
According to the sources, the CBI is to ask the court to send Sisodia to judicial custody.
A city court on Saturday extended the CBI custody of the former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister by 2 days. The court also stated that Sisodia’s bail plea hearing will take place on March 10.
While Sisodia was being taken to court on Saturday, scores of Aam Aadmi Party workers staged a protest in the central Delhi demanding for his release.
