Delhi’s Saket Court Grants Divorce to Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh from Wife Shalini

Delhi’s Saket Court has granted divorce to singer Yo Yo Honey Singh and his wife Shalini Talwar after a year of legal proceedings. Shalini Talwar had filed a domestic violence case against the singer.

Principal Judge (Family Court) Paramjeet Singh at Saket Court granted them a divorce decree after they reached a settlement agreement to resolve all their disputes. They had previously agreed to a settlement and alimony of Rs 1 Crore last year, leading to the withdrawal of her case against Honey Singh.

The couple got married in January 2011.

In September 2022, they jointly submitted a plea for mutual divorce.

During the proceedings, when the judge inquired, Honey Singh stated that there was no possibility of reconciliation with his wife. Advocate Ishan Mukherjee represented Honey Singh and confirmed that the court had granted the divorce decree following the second motion. He declined to disclose further details, citing the private nature of the matrimonial dispute.
