Fake Video Case: SC Agrees To Hear The Plea Filed By YouTuber Manish Kashyap

The Supreme Court today agrees to hear the plea filed by YouTuber Manish Kashyap seeking clubbing of FIRs against him in Bihar and Tamilnadu.

An early hearing will be heard by Supreme Court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud this morning where CJI DY Chandrachud said that he will hear the matter today itself.

Therefore, Manish Kashyap’s lawyer also filed an application in the Supreme Court seeking clubbing together of the FIRs registered against him in different states along with the interim bail.

Currently, Manish Kashyap is in the custody of the Tamil Nadu Police on charges of sharing a fake video of the attack on Bihari laborers in Tamil Nadu.

Last week, the Tamil Nadu Police team took him with them after obtaining a production warrant from the court. There, the Tamil Nadu Police interrogated Manish Kashyap after taking him on remand from Madurai court.
