Ghaziabad (UP) Court has sentenced a man to 20 years of imprisonment for raping a minor girl.
Special Judge (POCSO) Harshvardhan has pronounced Manu guilty of rape and imposed a fine of 20,000 on him, as confirmed by special prosecutor Sanjiv Bakharwa.
Manu committed the heinous act of raping a 16-year-old girl in June of the previous year, Bakharwa stated.
The FIR was filed on the complaint by the victim’s father, leading to Manu’s arrest five days after the incident.
