Greater Noida: Life Imprisonment For Raping Class 7th Student

On Tuesday, the Additional Sessions Judge of the District Court in Greater Noida sentenced Sunny, convicted of raping a class 7 student, to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of one lakh rupees on him. Failure to deposit the fine will result in additional imprisonment of 6 months, the court Said

The accused will have to pay 80 percent of the fine to the victim. After heard the punishment, the convict Sunny sat on the ground with his hand on his chest. Sunny is in jail since the incident.

on July 25, while going to school in the Sector-24 Kotwali area of ​​Noida, Sunny raped a class 7 student by dragging her into the bushes. When the condition of the victim was critical, she was treated in the hospital. On the complaint of the victim’s relatives, the police registered a report and arrested the accused Sunny and within three days, the police filed a charge sheet against the accused in the court. A total of 11 witnesses appeared during the hearing of the case. On the basis of witnesses and evidence, the court has convicted Sunny.
