Group Of US State Judges Visit Indian Parliament And Learn How To Work Indian Judiciary

A delegation of US State Court Judges led by Justice Sanjay T Tailor today met with the Chief Justice of India, Dhananjaya Yashwant Chandrachud.

According to a Supreme Court official, the CJI and the delegation members held “an exchange of views on the justice systems of the two largest democratic countries of the globe.”

The guest Justice Sanjay Tailor is a judge of the Illionois 1st District Appellate Court. He began serving on October 3,2022.

Justice Tailor serves as a judge for the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court’s 9th Subcircuit in Illinois.

On September 14, 2022, the Illinois Supreme Court appointed Justice Justice Tailor to succeed Judge Daniel James Pierce in the Illinois 1st District Appellate Court.

The assignment took effect on October 3, 2022, and it will continue to do so until another court ruling is issued.

From 2003 until 2021, he also worked as an associate judge on the Cook Judicial Circuit Court. Justice Tailor term at the office will end on 4 December,2028.
