Indore Special Court awards 1 yr Sentence to BJP MLA and 10 Others Each in Khandwa Kalikh Kand

A District Court of Indore sentenced to one year imprisonment to then 10 Vidyarthi Parishad workers, including BJP MLA Ram Dangore, in 11 years old from Khandwa of Madhya Pradesh In the famous case of blackening the face of a professor in Bhagwantrao Mandloi Agricultural College.
Along with this, the court has also imposed a fine of one thousand rupees on all the culprits.
However, after hearing the bail petition, the court also granted bail to all.

There was allegations against a professor in Bhagwantrao Mandloi Agriculture College that he was harassing girls students. On March 9, 2011, the Vidyarthi Parishad not only demonstrated in the college, but during this time the activists also blackened Professor Ashok Chowdhary’s face. Later, he was also assaulted in the cabin. On the complaint of Professor Ashok Chaudhary, a case was registered against 10 ABVP activists in police station Kotwali under different sections.
