Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar has recently approached the Session Court against the summons issued by the Andheri Court in the case involving actress Kangana Ranaut.
The Session Court will hear the matter on August 8.
In the complaint filed by Kangana Ranaut against Javed Akhtar, the Andheri Court issued summons to Javed Akhtar, including charges under IPC for criminal intimidation and insulting the modesty of a woman.
He was directed to appear before the Andheri Court on August 5.

Kangana stated in the petition that there was no connection between her dispute with Hrithik Roshan and Javed Akhtar.
Further, she asserted that Javed threatened her and her sister at his Juhu residence in, following which Kangana filed a complaint against Javed Akhtar.
