Kota District Court in Rajasthan has sentenced a 25-year-old-man to life imprisonment in connection with a murder case from 2017.
An additional district judge has also imposed a fine of Rs 60,000 on the convicted individual, Shubham Tiwari, for the murder of Sandeep Kapoor in the Dadabari area of the city.
However, the court acquitted another accused named Krishan Murari.
The incident occurred on October 24, 2017, when Tiwari fatally attacked Kapoor with a knife. Subsequently, the police registered a murder case against Tiwari, Murari, and another minor involved in the incident. The case involving the minor has already been adjudicated by the Juvenile Justice Board.
