A 21-year-old woman has come forward with serious allegations, accusing a lawyer of raping her inside his chamber at Tis Hazari Court, located in north Delhi.
The incident reportedly took place on July 27, with the woman filing an FIR on July 30.
In her account, the woman stated that the lawyer invited her to his office under the guise of offering her a job opportunity. However, once she was there, he allegedly sexually assaulted her. The woman also reported that the lawyer threatened her, warning of severe consequences if she spoke out about the assault.
Additionally, she claimed that he gave her Rs 1,500 before asking her to leave.
The matter came to public attention after the woman confided in her aunt, who then took the matter to the police. Authorities have registered a case and are currently conducting an investigation into the allegations.
