Singer Lucky Ali has accused an IAS officer and her husband of “land grabbing,” asserting that his family has owned the land rightfully for over 50 years.
Lucky Ali has accused IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri, her husband, and her brother-in-law of land grabbing. He alleges that they utilized state machinery and financial resources to unlawfully encroach upon the land. Ali has lodged a complaint with the Karnataka Lokayukta concerning this issue. Regarding this matter, renowed singer has approached the Karnataka Lokayukta. In his complaint, the 65-year-old alleged that Rohini Sindhuri misused state resources to illegally occupy his land in Yelahanka’s Kenchenahalli area.
Lucky Ali shared the details about his allegations through a post on X. Mr. Ali accused Ms. Sindhuri, along with her husband Sudhir Reddy and brother-in-law Madhusudan Reddy, of orchestrating illegal “land grabbing” through significant financial transactions. The complaint, filed under Section 7 of the Karnataka Lokayukta Act, 1984, raises serious concerns about administrative misconduct and calls for an investigation into what is termed a neglect of duty by the accused parties.
The conflict traces back to December 2022 when Lucky Ali publicly addressed the issue on social media, tagging the Karnataka Director General of Police. He alleged that the Reddys, who reportedly have ties to the “Bangalore land mafia” and purported support from Rohini Sindhuri, unlawfully encroached upon his property.
Mr. Ali asserted that his family has held rightful ownership of the land for more than 50 years, criticizing what he described as collusion by the police. He expressed frustration over the lack of assistance from local law enforcement, accusing them of siding with the encroachers and showing apathy towards their situation.
