A Muzaffarnagar POCSO court in Uttar Pradesh issued a notice to actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui, asking her to appear in court on October 7 in connection with a molestation case she had filed against the actor and his family.
The Judge of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) court, Ritesh Sachdeva, has called upon complainant Aaliya Siddiqui to present herself for a response following the submission of a final report by the police, which cleared all the accused, including Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The government counsel, Pradeep Balyan, confirmed that the police have exonerated all five accused individuals, including Nawazuddin Siddiqui, in the molestation case. According to the prosecution’s account, Nawazuddin’s brother Minazuddin was alleged to have molested a minor family member in 2012, with the others reportedly providing support.
The FIR was originally registered in Mumbai by Aaliya and was subsequently transferred to the Budhana police station in 2020. After a thorough investigation, the police have granted a clean chit to Nawazuddin, his mother Mehrunisa, as well as his brothers Fezuddin, Ayazuddin, and Minazuddin in this case.
