NDPS Case: Kaushambi Court Sentences Six Men to 15 Yrs of Imprisonment

A court in Kaushambi (Uttar Pradesh) has sentenced six individuals to 15 years of rigorous imprisonment in a case registered under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in 2016.

Special court judge Purnima Pranjal has found Sheshnath Yadav, Abhinanadan Chaube, Ravi Yadav, Vineet Kumar Jaiswal, Akshay Kumar Patel, and Munna Yadav guilty in an NDPS case from 2016 and has sentenced them to 15 years of rigorous imprisonment, government counsel Sashank Khare stated.

Each of the convicts has also been fined Rs 1 lakh, the government counsel added.

The case was filed at Puramufti Police station in May 2016.
