Sagar Dhankhad Murder: Rohini Court Grants Bail to Wrestler Sushil Kumar

The Rohini District court has granted bail to Wrestler Sushil Kumar, who is in jail in the murder of junior wrestler Sagar Dhankhar. Sushil Kumar granted one week bail on medical grounds. He has to go under knee surgery. During this period, two security personnel will be with him round the clock. The court has directed him to be released from July 23 to July 30 on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and two sureties.

The court in its order said that keeping in view the apprehension of danger to the witnesses, further security is also being considered. At least two security personnel will be present with him round the clock to keep an eye on Sushil Kumar. The entire cost of security personnel/police personnel for surveillance and security will be borne by the family members of Sushil Kumar.

The Court has directed Sushil Kumar not to threaten prosecution witnesses or tamper with evidence or indulge in any such offence. Along with this, the investigating officer has also been asked to share the live location of his phone if required.
