On Saturday, While hearing on the bail application filed by Aftab ,the Delhi’s Saket Court, the court said that Aftab has not hired any lawyer in the report they have received from Tihar Jail through email.
After which the court said that whether Aftab has hired a lawyer for himself or not, he should be produced through video conferencing. The court said that after asking Aftab, the matter will be heard next.
The court, asked Tihar Jail authority to produce Aftab today at 11.30 a.m. through video conferencing.

Delhi Police arrested Aftab Poonawalla on 12 November, while Shraddha’s father filed a complaint against him. Shraddha and Aftab were living as live-in partners in a rented house in Mehroli area. Aftab had killed Shraddha six months before his arrest. He chopped Sharda’s body into 35 parts and threw it at different places in Delhi. Police Has received CFSL and DNA Report also. On the basis of this report Police and Prosecution will appose his bail Appeal.
