The Special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) Court has issued a standing non-bailable warrant against Anmol Bishnoi and Rohit Godara in connection with the firing incident at Salman Khan’s residence, according to the Mumbai Police.
On July 8, the Mumbai Crime Branch filed a 1,735-page chargesheet under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against nine accused in the case. This chargesheet was submitted to the Special MCOCA Court in Mumbai.
The chargesheet is directed against six arrested individuals and three wanted accused, including gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi. It includes various investigation documents compiled into three volumes, totaling 1,735 pages. The evidence encompasses statements from 46 witnesses, witness statements under Section 164 CrPC before the Magistrate, confessional statements under MCOCA, 22 panchanamas, and technical evidence, all part of the chargesheet.
The firing incident occurred on April 14 outside Salman Khan‘s residence at Galaxy Apartments in the Bandra area of Mumbai. Subsequent arrests revealed links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, prompting the Mumbai Police to invoke the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against all involved in the shooting. To date, the Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested six individuals in this case.
