Same Page Scenario: Collegium Recommends Four Names for Elevation in Different State HC

An important meeting of the Supreme Court Collegium took place on Tuesday in Supreme Court. In this Collegium meeting, the names of judges have been recommended for four High Courts. The High Courts in this include Manipur, Karnataka, Bombay and Gujarat High Courts.

Among the names that have been recommended as judges of the High Court, senior advocate Neela Gokhale has been nominated for the Bombay High Court. Neela Gokhale has been the lawyer of Colonel Prasad Purohit. Apart from this, some old names are also included which have been recommended again.

Nagendra Ramachandra Naik has been recommended for appointment to the Karnataka High Court. So are Ram Chandra Dattatreya Huddar and Venkatesh Naik Thavarya Naik to the Karnataka High Court, Judicial Officer Mridul Kumar Kalita to the Gujarat High Court, Smt. A recommendation has been made to appoint a High Court judge.
