SC Collegium Recommends Appointment Of 3 New Judges to Telangana HC

The Supreme Court Collegium has put forth the recommendations of Advocate Anil Kumar Jukanti, Advocate Laxminsarayana Alishetty, and Judicial Officer Sujana Kalasikam as Judges of the High Court of Telangana.

These names were initially proposed by the Chief Justice of Telangana in consultation with two senior colleagues on October 23, 2022.

The inputs provided highlighted the candidates’ impeccable professional and personal reputation, with no adverse remarks regarding their integrity.

Advocate Anil Kumar brings over 20 years of experience to the table, specializing in taxation, civil law, and criminal law.

Advocate Laxminsarayana Alishetty, with 26 years of standing at the Bar, specializes in writ litigation, arbitration, civil law, and commercial litigation.

After careful deliberation, the Supreme Court Collegium has deemed these three candidates suitable for appointment as Judges of the High Court of Telangana.
