Maharajganj’s Sessions and District Judge Neeraj Kumar has sentenced nine culprits to life imprisonment in the case of murder of a youth in Gram Sabha Lakshmipur Ekdanga 12 years ago. Besides, a fine of Rs 50-50 thousand has also been imposed.
Public Prosecutor criminal Brijendra Nath Tripathi said that the plaintiff case Brij Bhushan Jaiswal, resident of Gram Sabha Belvatikar police station Kothibhar district Maharajganj, had filed a report at Kothibhar police station on May 22, 2012. He had told that his brother Rajmani alias Nikku has a grocery and mobile shop at Puraina intersection under Ghughuli police station area. On May 22, 2012, at around 5 pm, his brother Rajmani alias Nikku along with his younger brother Dheeraj went to him on a bike saying that a friend had called.
After some time, a call came from the plaintiff’s brother Dheeraj that Rajmani alias Nikku was apprehended by Dhirendra Chandra Sarkar, Vipul Singh alias Alok Singh, Ishwar Maurya, Super Sarkar, Vasudev Sarkar, Raju Maurya, Anil Gupta, Abhinandan Tiwari and Pintu alias Neelendra with sticks and sticks. They are beating with iron rods. Dhirendra Chandra Sarkar has slit his brother’s throat with a knife. After receiving the information, the plaintiff immediately went there and took his brother to Maharajganj Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared him dead. In this case, a case was registered at Kothibhar police station and the charge sheet was presented in the court after investigation. During the trial, 10 witnesses were presented and punishment was demanded. The court has awarded the above punishment to the culprits on the basis of evidence and evidence available on file.
