Shraddha Murder Case: Accused Aftab Poonawla to be Produced in Saket Court Today

Aftab Poonawalla, accused in the Shraddha murder case, will be produced today in Delhi’s Sakte Court. In the last hearing, Aftab’s judicial custody was extended by the court for four days. On December 6, Aftab was produced in the Saket court through video conferencing. The court had then directed the Tihar Jail Authority to present the accused Aftab Poonawala in the physical court on January 10.

On December 4, the Delhi Police got a big success in the Shraddha murder case. The hair and bone samples sent by the police for DNA mitochondrial profiling have matched. A senior official told Legally Speaking that it has been confirmed that Shraddha Walker was murdered by her live-in partner Aftab Poonawalla.

After strangling Shraddha Walker on May 18, Poonawalla cut her body into 35 pieces and even kept it in a refrigerator for a period of about three weeks at his residence before dumping it across the city for several days Was.
