The Delhi’s Saket Court on Friday extended the judicial custody of Aftab Poonawalla, accused in the Shraddha murder case till January 10.
Aftab was produced in the Saket court through video conferencing. The court has directed the Tihar Jail Authority to present the accused Aftab Poonawala on January 10.
On Wednesday, the Delhi Police got a big success in the Shraddha murder case. The hair and bone samples sent by the police for DNA mitochondrial profiling have matched. A senior official told Legally Speaking that it has been confirmed that Shraddha Walker was murdered by her live-in partner Aftab Poonawalla. Police said bones and hair were recovered during searches from forest areas of Delhi NCR including Gurgaon and Mehrauli.
