A Gautam Buddh Nagar court (UP) granted bail to controversial YouTuber Siddharth Yadav, also known as Elvish Yadav, in a suspected drugs case, his legal representatives confirmed on Friday.
Yadav was apprehended by the Noida Police on Sunday as part of their investigation into the suspected use of snake venoms as recreational drugs at parties he organized.
“The court considered the bail application and granted bail in the case. He will be required to provide two bail bonds of Rs 50,000 each, which will be submitted in court,” stated Advocate Prashant Rathi.
However, according to advocate Deepak Bhati, who is also part of Yadav’s legal team in this matter, it might be some time before Yadav is released from Luksar Jail in Greater Noida, where he has been detained since March 17, 2024.
