Supreme Court Collegium Recommended 2 Additional Judges Of Chhattisgarh High Court To Be Made Permanent

The Top Court in its meeting held on 23rd November has approved the proposal for appointment of the following Additional Judges as Permanent Judges in the Chhattisgarh High Court

  1. Justice Narendra Kumar Vyas;
  2. Justice Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi.
    Justice Narendra Kumar Vyas in the year 1995 obtained his degree in Law from Pt. Ravishankar University, Raipur and has practised in Session and District Court at Raipur, Raigarh and Bilaspur, Labour and Industrial Courts, Raipur, Madhya Pradesh High Court at Jabalpur and Chhattisgarh High Court at Bilaspur. He was being appointed as an Assistant Solicitor General of India in September 2014 and continued September 2017. On March 22, 2021, he was being elevated as an Additional Judge of Chhattisgarh High Court.
    Justice Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi obtained his degree in Law form from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar (M.P.) and in July 2020 joined as Civil Judge Class-II at Civil Court Bilaspur. Thus, he served as an Additional Registrar (D.E.) of the Chhattisgarh High Court and thereafter as the District and Sessions judge, Surguja at Ambikapur. 22nd March, 2021, he was being elevated as an Additional Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court.
