On Friday a PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking SIT investigation of the case.

Today, the petitioner mentioned his petition before
CJI DY Chandrachud and asked for an early hearing on his petition.

CJI DY Chandrachud said that your petition is not yet listed in the mentioning list, Saying this, he refused to give any date for the hearing at present.

The Aryavarta Mahasabha Foundation has filed this PIL in the Supreme Court.

The petitioner demanded a  national action plan to control the manufacture, trade and sale of illegal liquor across the country.

In last two days, in Mashrak and Isuapur police station area of ​​Chhapra district of Bihar, more than 30 people have lost their lives due to spurious liquor, while many people are still undergoing treatment in the hospital
