The prosecution requested more time to respond to his bail application.

Constable Chetan Singh is accused of shooting and killing three passengers and an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of the RPF on a Mumbai-Jaipur Express train on July 31, 2023.

They also relied on CCTV footage from inside the train, which showed Constable Chetan Singh moving between compartments and looking for potential victims.

A high-level Committee was set up to look into the firing on the Mumbai train in more detail which was lead by the Additional Director-General of the RPF.
