In the Tunisha Sharma case, Sheezan Khan will be produced in Mumbai’s court today. Sheezan Khan’s police remand is ending today. Meanwhile Shijan’s family members have also reached Vasai court.
Eariler TV actor Sheezan Khan has been sent on police remand for by Mumbai’s Vasai court in actress Tunisha Sharma suicide case.
During the last hearing, the police had asked for seven days’ custody of Sheezan Khan. The police has said that it needs answers to many questions from Sheezan, hence custody will be required. The police also said in the court that Sheejan has given answers to many questions in a roundabout way in the interrogation so far.
But the Vasai court has given Sheejan’s custody to further the investigation in the case.
Talking to the media on Sunday, ACP Chandrakant Jadhav of Mumbai Police said, ‘It is clear from the postmortem report that the death was due to hanging. That’s why the investigation of the murder case is not made out. We have produced Sheezan Khan in the court today. Got 4 days custody.
We will interrogate him now. We have registered a case against Sheejan under IPC section 306 i.e. abetment to suicide. Tunisha’s mother had complained to us about this. The investigation so far has revealed that Tunisha was badly broken due to the breakup and has committed suicide.
The station house office of Valiv police station told media that Based on a complaint filed by Sharma’s mother, the Valiv police here registered a case against the deceased’s co-actor, Sheezan M Khan, under Indian Penal Code Section 306 (abetment of suicide) and arrested him.
Sharma had acted in the TV show ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap’ and films like ‘Fitoor’ and ‘Baar Baar Dekho’.
