Tunisha Sharma Case: Accused Sheezan Khan Files Bail Plea In Bombay High Court

Accused TV actor Sheezan Khan on Monday filed a bail petition in the Bombay High Court regarding the Tunisha Sharma case. He also sought the quashing of an FIR registered against him. He has been charged with the murder of his co-star and ex-girlfriend, Tunisha Sharma.

The Bombay High Court will hear his bail plea on January 30.

Earlier, on January 13, the TV actor’s bail request was denied by the Vasai Court in Maharashtra.

“Tunisha passed away after a panic attack on December 15, the day Sheezan and Tunisha ended their relationship. Sheezan was the final person to meet Tunisha before she passed away, it has also been disclosed,” The court observed.

In connection with Tunisha’s death, the actor has been held in judicial custody. Additionally, Sheezan’s family had already claimed that the late actor’s mother had wrongly implicated him in the case. They added that Tunisha had become like a “family” to them.

According to reports, Tunisha Sharma was dating Sheezan Khan. Tunisha Sharma is said to have committed suicide on December 24, a fortnight after the two supposedly ended their brief relationship.

Sheezan Khan, who co-starred with the 20-year-old actor in ‘Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul,’ was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide just hours after the actress died.
