Tunisha Sharma Death: Actor Sheezan Khan Approaches Mumbai Court Seeking Return Of His Passport

Television actor Sheezan Khan, the prime accused in the death case of co-star and ex-girlfriend actress Tunisha Sharma, has filed an application on Monday in Maharashtra’s Vasai court seeking a direction to the police to return his passport, which was previously seized during the investigation of the ongoing case.

Sheezan Khan’s application will be heard by Vasai Court on Tuesday.

Sheezan stated in his application that he needs to fly abroad for shootings and would require a passport.

Sheezan was arrested in December of last year and held in judicial custody until he was freed on bail from Thane Central Jail on March 5, 2023.

The Vasai Court granted Sheezan bail with a ₹1 lakh surety bond and ordered him to submit his passport.

Waliv Police had filed a 524-page chargesheet in Vasai Court against Sheezan for abetting 21-year-old actress’ suicide.

Furthermore, Sheezan’s family previously claimed that he was falsely implicated in the case by the late actor’s mother, and further claimed that Tunisha was like “family” to them.

Sheezan was reportedly dating his ‘Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul’ co-star Tunisha, who was discovered hanging at a TV serial set a fortnight after the two ended their months-long relationship.

Sheezan was arrested for ‘Abetment to Suicide’ just hours after the actress died.

After the actress’ death, Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma made heinous allegations against Sheezan, claiming that he used to beat her and force her to follow Islamic practises.

However, Sheezan’s sister and co-star Falaq Naaz accused Tunisha’s mother of “neglecting” her and claimed that the actress’ depression was caused by childhood trauma.
