Mumbai Vasai Court on Wednesday extended the police custody of Sheezan Khan, the accused in the Tunisha Sharma death case till December 30.

According to the sources, the police have recovered chats of around 250 to 300 pages from June to this December through which they are trying to know the real reason why the Alibaba – Dastaan-e-Kabul stars decided to part ways.
The police told to the media that they will send an electronic mail (e-mail) to WhatsApp to retrieve the deleted chats between Sheezan and his “secret girlfriend”.

The Police further said that they plan to question Sheezan today on the matter of these deleted chats which he allegedly had with his “secret girlfriend”. The police want to know due to which reason, Sheezan had to delete the chats, if there was nothing objectionable.

Sources told the legally speaking that the police are probing the matter on the lines of why Sheezan deleted his chats with one girl only and will also investigate if they were connected after Tunisha’s death.

On 25 December, TV actor Sheezan Khan had sent on police remand for four days by Mumbai’s Vasai court in actress Tunisha Sharma suicide case.

During the hearing, the police had asked for seven days’ custody of Sheejan Khan. The police had said that it needs answers to many questions from Sheejan, hence custody will be required. The police also said in the court that Sheejan has given answers to many questions in a roundabout way in the interrogation so far.

But the Vasai court had given Sheejan’s custody for 4 days to further the investigation in the case.

Talking to the media on Sunday, ACP Chandrakant Jadhav of Mumbai Police said, ‘It is clear from the postmortem report that the death was due to hanging. That’s why the investigation of the murder case is not made out. We have produced Sheezan Khan in the court today. Got 4 days custody.

We will interrogate him now. We have registered a case against Sheejan under IPC section 306 i.e. abetment to suicide. Tunisha’s mother had complained to us about this. The investigation so far has revealed that Tunisha was badly broken due to the breakup and has committed suicide.

The station house office of Valiv police station told media that Based on a complaint filed by Sharma’s mother, the Valiv police here registered a case against the deceased’s co-actor, Sheezan M Khan, under Indian Penal Code Section 306 (abetment of suicide) and arrested him.

Sharma had acted in the TV show ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap’ and films like ‘Fitoor’ and ‘Baar Baar Dekho’.
