The Supreme Court on Friday issued a circular stating that “any advocate who is seeking relief in urgent matters, either on court holidays or after court hours, can approach a notified officer of the Registry, and if required, a bench will be constituted,”.
Such an officer, who shall be the Vacation Officer, would screen the papers, seek directions from the Competent Authority and thereafter inform the advocate concerned about the directions, the circular said
