Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court on Thursday has directed to record statements of 2 police officials on July 26 in a criminal case filed by women wrestlers against former Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and former WFI assistant secretary Vinod Tomar.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Priyanka Rajpoot issued summons for the police officials for July 26 to provide their testimonies.
Previously in May, the court framed charges of sexual harassment, criminal intimidation, and outraging the modesty of women against Singh, who pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
