Supreme Court to Hear AAP’s Plea Seeking Timely conduct of Delhi Mayor Election on Feb 3

Supreme Court Bench comprising of CJI DY Chandrachud and Justice Deepankar Dutta will hear the Plea of AAP Seeking Early Election of Delhi Mayor on Februray 3.

Advocate Manu Singhwi mention the issue before the supreme Court on behalf of AAP Mayor Candidate Shally Oberoi seeking direction to Conduct Mayor Election Timely.

The Mayor Election was to conduct second time on January 24th, But due to rukkus in the house election were stalled. Actually AAP Members were protest appointment of Presiding officer by LG.

The Aam Aadmi Party accused the BJP of obstructing the elections and resorting to delaying tactics.
