One More petition has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding removal of illegal encroachment on railway land near Haldwani railway station in Uttarakhand. Petitioner’s lawyer Prashant Bhushan urged Supreme Court Chief Justice Justice DY Chandrachud on Wednesday for an early hearing on the petition. Justice DY Chandrachud said that he will hear this petition along with other petitions in this matter which are listed for hearing on Thursday.

There are 4365 encroachments and we will give notice through local newspapers and The occupants will be given 7 days time to shift.
