The Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud, on 10th July (Wednesday) inaugurated the new multi-facilitation centre inside the Supreme Court premises. The event was attended by other apex court judges and staff.
Located opposite the UCO (United Commercial Bank) Bank near the C-IN Gate in the main campus, the centre features 68 cubicles for advocates, lockers and cabins for oath commissioners, a consultation room, a stationery shop, a chemist shop, and a common waiting area for litigants or visitors with a sitting capacity of around 50 persons, according to a Supreme Court source.
