  • The Supreme court will hear on Tuesday, a batch of petitions filed by shiv sena, faction lead by Maharashtra Chief minister Eknath Shinde and Uddhav thackeray.
  • The Supreme Court on Tuesday will hear a petition filed by Bilkis Bano challenging the remission of 11 convicts, who were sentenced to life in 2008 for the gang-rape of Bilkis Bano and murder of seven of her family members, after the Gujarat government cleared their early release under the state’s 1992 remission policy.
  • The Supreme Court on Tuesday will hear plea  regarding OBC reservations in local bodies elections in Maharashtra.
  • The Supreme court will hear petition by AAP MP Sanjay Singh seeking quashing of multiple FIRs lodged against him in various districts of Uttar Pradesh after the press conference, saying they have been “maliciously instituted to unleash political vendetta”.
