Arvind Kejriwal’s lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi has said that he is withdrawing the bail petition from the Supreme Court. And now we will first argue on the ED’s remand application in the trial court and first move the bail application there. If relief is not available from there then they will proceed step by step and finally approach the Supreme Court.
Keep in mind that the Supreme Court did not seem to agree to hear Arvind Kejriwal’s petition. At night the registry had returned the legal team of Arvind Kejriwal. This Friday morning, when Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi demanded an early hearing before the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, he said that he should go to the court of Justice Sanjeev Khanna and demand an early hearing.
When Abhishek Manu Singhvi reached the court of Justice Sanjeev Khanna, he said that right now the court is hearing special matters. Come after this. After this it was revealed that the bench of Justice MM Sundaresh and Justice Bela M Trivedi led by Justice Sanjeev Khanna can hear the petition of Arvind Kejriwal.
