Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand will mention his plea on Monday before Supreme Court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud seeking an early hearing on the petition related to land tragedy in Joshimath, Uttarakhand.

Shankaracharya requested in his petition to direct the Center and the National Disaster Management Authority to take quick and effective steps. NTPC and Border Roads Organization should also be ordered to help in the relief work.
