Khushi Dubey, wife of Amar Dubey, accused in Kanpur’s Bikeru incident, got bail from the Supreme Court on Wednesday. During the hearing of the case, the Uttar Pradesh government opposed the bail plea of Khushi Dubey. The state government said that Khushi Dubey has a serious allegation of inciting the police to fire. Not only this, according to the jail report, her behavior is not good, she has quarreled with other prisoners. The government said that if Khushi Dubey is granted bail, then the gang can become again active.
While granting bail to Khushi Dubey, the Supreme Court said that she was only 17 years old at the time of the incident. Trial has started in the case. So there is no justification for keeping her in jail.
