The Supreme Court Bench comprising Justice Ajay Kumar Rastogi and Justice Bela M Trivedi directed the matter be listed for hearing before the winter vacation.

On 22 November Supreme Court had issued Notice to Union Government, Delhi Government and Delhi Police. This was also remarked by Supreme Court that, ‘We have gone through the petition and looked into supporting evidence placed on record.’

Chandrashekar is lodged under the charges of money laundering and defrauding several people. He wrote a letter to LG of Delhi and complained that AAP Government through his Jailed Minister Satyendra Jain had taken extortion money. After this some people in uniform assaulted him.

Senior advocate R Basant and advocate Ashok Kumar Singh appeared in the Supreme Court on 22 November for Sukesh. They had informed the court that Sukesh had been threatened and Physically Assaulted on two occasions because of the probe by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Delhi Police into allegations of extortion against Delhi jail officials.  Sukesh was brough to Mandoli jail on 26 August.
Sukesh, through his lawyers, has appealed to the Supreme Court to shift him to any other jail in the country as he feels that any jail in Delhi which is under the interference and control of the Delhi jail Authority and the Director General Jail,  is not safe  for him
