Azam Khan to Face Trial in UP Courts, SC refuses to Transfer Pending Criminal Cases Against Him

The Supreme court on Wednesday turns down Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan’s plea seeking the transfer of all cases registered in UP to courts outside the state.

Azam Khan’s lawyer Kapil Sibal said during the hearing of the case that 87 FIRs have been made against me (Azam). All cases should be transferred outside the state. There is no hope of getting justice in UP. On which the Supreme Court said that it is not that you will not get justice in UP. Saying this, the Supreme Court refused to give relief to Azam.
