The Delhi High Court on Monday ruled in favor of Domino’s Pizza in a trademark dispute, stopping several restaurants from using names like “Dominic Pizza” & “Domindo Pizza” for selling pizzas.
Justice Mini Pushkarna ordered online food delivery platforms Swiggy and Zomato to remove these restaurants from their listings. The court found that Domino’s had a strong case, and without an immediate order, the company could suffer significant losses.
The ruling prevents the accused restaurants and their owners from using similar names, logos, packaging, or marketing materials that could confuse customers into thinking they are associated with Domino’s.

Domino’s argued that these restaurants were using names that were too similar to its original trademark and were misleading customers. The court agreed, stating that allowing them to continue could cause financial and reputational damage to Domino’s.
